Summary:
In this report article first of all writer gives definition about social networking services which tells us that it is a service which allows us to exchange our ideas, views and can be used for educational purposes. The argument I am focusing on from this article is Barriers and risk in online social networking. Firstly the article tell us about what are the negative views of social networking service after that it also define blocking and filtering procedures within UK education system. In addition, it also state about digital media literacy policy and lack of straightforward risk evaluation and management tools. Moreover, about risk in online social networking services first of all article report misunderstanding of users believe that their information shared on this service is safe and private which is not true. After that, article gives information how to manage the risk. Next, article also evaluate some more risk such as cyberbullying and anti social behavior, impersonation and identity theft and potentially illegal behaviour and illegal content.

Response:
The data in this article is well organised and usefull for me because my article is about Online social networking, it is fact which cannot be denied that we have so many different advantages of this service, but in contrast, we also have some drawbacks, risk and barriers that should be kept in mind and try to avoided with some useful practices as givien in this report article. I found this article very important for me because I have to argue for both side and this article contain fair enough imformation in aggainst this service like identity theft and cyberbullying. Lastly, in my opinion this service is a good oppurtunity creating online social life and evidence suggest that it has connected more people globally, but on the other hand, it also have some risk and drawbacks like disconnecting people physically that can be avoided by applying some healthy habbits.
