Summary and Response-Annie part2

This article discusses and shows the ideas that people who are against animal testing. Because of animal research is wasteful the test results can be unreliable and misleading. Every animal species has unique charateristics that make it different from every other species, not like humans. Furthermore, the testing process is stressful to the animals. And this stress may cause results to be inaccurate. However, there are many better experimental methods compare with animal testing. Such as computer simulation programs which tesing on human patients. This program not only can save animals' lives but also can get more accurate scientific results. Computer models also can save money and time, which cna generate data instantly. Animals reuire close obervation, it waste time. On the other hand, some people believe that many of scientific advances of the test hundred years could just as easily have taken plece without animal testing.

Response

Animals are suffering unnecessarilly and cruelly. When an animal is handled by a lab technician and confined in a small cage, may cause test result to be inaccurate. Furthermore, animals clearly do not feel the same way as humans. The est result from animals does not match with humans. Some commercial drugs which have been withdrawn because of side effects in humans, because of animal system differ from human system. some drugs had to be withdrawn from market despite extensive testing. Some people may think it is not every new drug needs to be tested on animals, especially with highly technology computer models.
