Summary
Today, students have to get work experience to increase their chances to get jobs in the downturn, and they must get skills and fist-hand experience of work at university. In 2009, 581 recruiters surveyed for the report, 78% rated employability skills in UK.
Students should learn more employability skills. The universities provide and offer students work placements during their studies to incorporate employability into courses. so that enhance their employability skills. And the companies provide the training open to students studing all subjects. eg, the exeter university students are given an employability matters handbook every year and across the campus.
During the many years, the competition will be the most intense for jobs. As the employers, they don't want to provide the fully trained to fresh graduates, but what they do value in graduates are their people skills. On the othe side, the universities and the companies should do more to meet demand among students for doing work placements and internships during a degeree.
To the UK's growth path out of recession, skills and attributes that will help young graduates get jobs and manage their careers over a lifetime.

In this article, I get some useful information. Nowadays, the competition will be the most intense to get jobs. The graduates want to get job in the downturn, they have to get skills and work experience first.
The experience is what the majority of employeers want. Thus the companies don't want to provide fully trained to the fresh graduates. And education does not prepare for a real world challenges. the good mark cannot make people living better and ensure will have a succeed career. therefore, many univerisities provide and offer students the placements during their studies and help them to enhance the employability skills into courses.
