I think this article is useful for my essay, which entitled “ being ethical is the golden way of doing business in the future”. First of all, this article is talk about SRI, which stands for socially responsible investing. From this article, I got some useful information for my essay.
First of all, I know that if the company operates ethically, it will carry less risk and have higher profit. More important, it was proved by the research. Seeing that, the investors are more willing to invest their money in the company with good social responsibility.
Secondly, SRI is an investment strategy that helping the investor to choose the best company to invest. Nowadays, the investors not only consider the balance sheet and assets, but only the contribution to the society. It is because they believe that good social responsibility can help the company to gain a better financial performance.
Thirdly, not only the public and government are concerning the ethical, but also the shareholder. They will use their power and right to request the company to put more attention and resources on the community.
Finally, this article really help me a lots to backup my viewpoint on my essay. Form my point view; it is essential that company should contribute to the society such as donation and provide more job opportunity. Furthermore, company need to concern the impact on the society rather than only focus on the profit. All these actions will bring benefit to the company and make it success.
