Topic: Being ethical is the golden way of doing business in the future.
Passively? Actively?
Introduction:
One day, I did shopping with my friend in a fashion shop. Suddenly, she told me with an angry voice “ hey Kelvin, I won’t buy anything which is made by leather!” Actually, I understood the reason behind but one question came to my mind and the question is that is it a must for the company to run the business ethically nowadays? As we all know, ethical issue draws more and more attention from the public, government and even within the Industry than a decade before. As far as I can see being ethical is no more optional for the company. Apparently, government is doing something to control the company by implementing new regulation, which related to environment, employee and product safety. At the same time, company puts more effort on improving their image and getting confidence from the consumer. They will contribute to the society and benefit their employees. I reckon that if the companies want to survive in keen competition market, they should be ethical both “passively” and “actively”.

I don't know what the structure of your essay will be, what your thesis is, or how you are using the word 'ethical'. This is just background. It's a good way of introducing the topic, but needs more.
