Introduction:
As things stand, it is the advancement of contemporary science & technology that can generate copious benefits for human beings; meanwhile, it may as well pose a potential threat to mankind, esp, concerning the youngsters' behaviours. Seemingly, there is no denying that a visual epidemic of "Television Children"(Maccoby,1951,P422) is under way within teenage population. According to the recent survey in UK, toddles who faced TV screen for a longer period can be detrimental for their health and habits, compared with those who were seldom being exposed in their TV-watching.(BBC News, May 2010) Notwithstanding, this issue presumably deserves thorough meditation in light of the physical, psycho biological development of young adults. Indeed, equally important is numerous of shortcomings can be obviously found, mainly shown on murdering time, declining communication, becoming self-secluded or even committing crimes; however, some merits should not yet be ignored, particularly with regards of the means of diversion, knowledge, user-friendly and family-reunion. Despite all of above, therefore, It is conceivable that the new mass media does have negative influence upon juvenile outweighing the benefits.
