To what extent can be the problem of urbanization is met by a policy of sustainable development?

Abstract
An increasing trend of urbanization has been noticed in last few decades that mean industrialization and technological advancement along with all possible necessities. It seems very nice when we only think about urbanization but on the other hand meanwhile it has also give birth to many issues such as human safety, health and limited places to live, which automatically brings the need of sustainable development. The concept of such development is creating benefit from available resources for our future generation without compromising on health issues. This essay takes UK as a base country for example and discusses the trend of urbanization and related problems i.e. crimes, housing and health issues. It also evaluate the policies and role of UK government to tackle such problems and how to achieve sustainable development. Finally, this essay tries to give some recommendations for future generation such as, “Co Housing Model” to cope with such issues and to maintain healthier and longer life expectancy.
